This is a great place for a group holiday but also suitable for families and couples.
The non motorised water sports are free, excellent tuition is offered and there are plenty of sail boats, canoes, windsurfers available for use, we never had to wait.
Also available are jet skis at ... ...15 minutes. tremendous fun.
There is unlimited food and drinks available, a choice of an itialian, indian and fish restaurant as well as a buffet choice every evening. The standard of food is good and the service friendly.
There is a nice harbour within five minutes walk of the hotel , with local shops and a supermarket. There is a shop on the resort complex.

This is a great place for a group holiday but also suitable for families and couples.
The non motorised water sports are free, excellent tuition is offered and there are plenty of sail boats, canoes, windsurfers available for use, we never had to wait.
Also available are jet skis at a very reasonable cost of 20 us$ (about £11) for 15 minutes. tremendous fun.
There is unlimited food and drinks available, a choice of an itialian, indian and fish restaurant as well as a buffet choice every evening. The standard of food is good and the service friendly.
There is a nice harbour within five minutes walk of the hotel , with local shops and a supermarket. There is a shop on the resort complex.
There are plenty of tours available, mostly involving boat trips, glass bottomed boats to a reef, fast catamaran tours around the island. These tours are quite expensive.
All in all we had a great trip and will definately return.

I WENT TO JOLLY BEACH LAST YEAR THE ROOMS ARE BASIC BUT COSY I FOUND THE STAFF AND ENTERTAINMENT STAFF TO BE VERY HELPFULL AND FRIENDLY THE FOOD WAS BRILL I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK THERE WAS PLENTY OF THINGS TO DO ROUND THE RESORT YOU WOULD NEVER GET BOARD ...

Upon arriving at the hotel after a very long flight I was immediately immpressed by the relaxed nature of the people and the surroundings. It truely was paradise. I couldn't find any faults with the hotel (apart from it being close to the airport, but not close enough to have a constant stream of aircraft spoiling the surrounding pleasures). If you want to relax from a busy 9-5 job, then get that all inclusive holiday booked now. I have visited several islands in the caribbean, namely Barbados and Grenada but have to say this is my favourite. Your a short bus ride from the capital, have miles of unspoilt beach, great food and wonderful sunsets. As i mentioned previously, the people are very friendly and cannot do enough for you, this also adds to the wonders of your two weeks stay. Good luck and fingers crossed you get a good tan to take ...

I travelled to Antigua for my wedding, it was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been, they say there is a different beach for every day of the year and although we only saw one it was perfect. Very good value as its mostly all inclusive which includes meals, drinks and many watersports. The entertainment is hotel based so make sure you choose one with enough facilities for your needs, we stayed at the Jollybeachresort which has 04 resturants, a bbq grill on the beach and plenty of evening entertainment including steel bands playing all the modern songs, very cool to hear "shaggy" it wasnt me by a steel band. The wedding was perfect and the co-ordinator couldnt do enough to help us make our day special. Antigua is one of the few places that you do not need to have been in the country for a number of days before your wedding ...
