Advantages: Friendly staff, modern decor, lots of handy facilities, great location Disadvantages: Rooms are a bit on the small side and cramped
the best available double room when we got to the hotel.
The hotel that we had booked was the four star 'Jolly Carlton'. I had a look on the internet and it seemed wonderful.
We were told that check in wasn't until 2pm, but when we arrived in Amsterdam in the morning, we though that we would go to the hotel to see if we could leave our luggage there so we didn't have to drag it around the city until 2pm.
The hotel is about a 15 minute walk from the central station, which we managed no problem, even with our luggage. If you don't want to walk then there are also several trams you can take, either from the central station or from the centre of the town, though it really isn't that far and it is a fairly flat road all the way, and it means you can window shop as you walk! Advantages: Central, cheap, clean, Disadvantages: holiday was too short!!
Recently, me and my girlfriend visited Rome. As we were only in Rome for 4 nights we wanted somewhere central so we could see all the sights and do all the touristy bits. We eventually decided on Valle hotel and we are glad we did.
::: Why the Valle Hotel? :::
There are a number of reasons why we chose Valle. The first was that it was central, about 5minutes walk from the main train station (Stazione Termini) from there you can catch a bus to anywhere in the city, or get the metro or a train to other local towns or further afield if you wish.
::: The Hotel:::
It is a relatively small hotel with only 40 rooms. There is a welcoming foyer, with a reception desk manned 24/7. There is also a little bar. The rooms are fairly modern, comfortable and very pleasant. All rooms are en-suite. The rooms were clean and inviting. All ...
Advantages: LOCATION Disadvantages: Bar shuts too early

Well then lets get started.
*********COST**********
This is always my favourite place to start !!!! Well this hotel is in my opinion an average cost for a 3* hotel inRome at about £105 per room per night including breakfast. I know you can definately get cheaper priced hotels but I was happy with this cost for what you get (all will be revealed).
*************LOCATION************
I have to say that the Hotel Impero is in a super location, in a lovely leafy area. I would best descibe the location as right in the centre of the historical art city of Rome, overlooking the Roman Opera ...
