Joop! Homme is my husbands favourite perfume, he has quite a few bottles of it because family members buy him a bottle for his birthday and Christmas every year. My husband likes his fragrances and has a collection of them just as big as mine. If it were up to him he would only have four or five of them and those would be the Joop fragrances such as Joop Jump, Joop Go, Joop Night Flight etc. Although Joop Homme would be number one on his list because he has been using the scent since he was a teenager and it is still his all time favourite.

I bought a bottle of this a few weeks ago as an alternative to the other normal aftershave I have in my collection. I decided to try something different and Joop is very different to other aftershaves. Unlike most aftershave which have a spicy aroma Joop is more like a perfume. I would say it has a blossom scent like a strong flower like fuschia but there is a fruity aroma also. It is very pleasant and refreshing to spray on in the morning. Image wise I would say it is more something you would use when going out at night to meet a girlfriend.
The first scent (the strong flowery one) does not last long however so it is quite safe to spray a bit on after a shower in the morning, go and have breakfast and then get on a bus, the scent will not overpower anyone.
