Over the next few days we noticed what an active city Vancouver is, people riding, walking, jogging - so its no surprise to note that Jericho Beach is popular for picnic and barbeque areas, sailing and kayaking, volleyball and tennis, jogging and of course sunbathing. The beach also has concession stands, change rooms, showers and toilets.
Jericho Beach is also located near the Vancouver famous beach area, Kitslano (or Kits to us locals!). A laid back (even for Vancouver) area with a great selection of healthy shopping and restaurants. Kits beach has an outdoor heated pool.

Well this is one freaky and scary movie. Its rather you have to fight to survive through the movie than to watch it.
This movie is completely about brutality. God knows what was goin through that directors mind while creating. The movie is packed with complete thrills, scenes which give you chills, goosebumps and some, which make you wanna puke. The violence and gore in the movie is just too horrific. You need to have a stable mind to watch the movie.
The actors in the movie, Jay Hernandez has acted very well. The story starts from a hostel in slovakia. The main character reaches this hostel and find two beautiful ladies there, Natalya and Svetlana. They somehow hangout with these females and end up pairing with them. During the Nazi occupation local resistance sussed out the Nazi spys by having people pronounce the name of the town Scheveningen. So don't embarrass yourself trying to say it!
5 minutes from the Hague, 15 minutes from Delft and about 40 minutes from Amsterdam; if you are looking for night life Scheveningen is the place to be.
The boardwalk is strewn with cafes and clubs, some staying open as late, or as early as 6AM.
I still haven't visited Scheveningen by day yet so I'm unable to comment on the day life, although from what I can gather it would be excellent for a day at the beach.
There is a Bungy Jump Club situated at the end of the pier and a large shopping mall, offering late night shopping on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 11pm.
