What a fantastic hotel!! My husband and I have now stayed in this hotel twice and are already planning a third visit - testament to the quality, service and fabulous experience offered by the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. It's quite expensive, but a great example of getting what you pay for - the rooms are spacious and come with a whole manner of luxuries to include fresh fruit delivered daily, complimentary bath robes, daily resort newsletters, chocolates, and fresh towels left in the shapes of animals! The facilities within the hotel are fantastic, a large main pool with swm up pool bar, family pool & executive pool, all with fantastic views of the Burj Al Arab. Great sports facilities and excellent provisions for younger children at the Sinbad club, teenagers and the young at heart also well catered for with complimentary access to 'Wild Wadi' water park which is right next door. The hotel also offers complimentary shuttle buses to the Mall of the Emirates (the big one with the ski slope) and the Ibn Battuta Mall (much smaller, but absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit!). Food at the hotel is excellent, with a good range of themed restaurants including Italian, Lebanese, British & American although some of these do have a dress code, and may need to be booked a couple of days in advance. Word of advice, if you're celebrating anything, make sure you tell the staff. I mentioned in passing that I would be celebrating my 30th birthday whilst at the hotel, and was suprised by a birthday card, cake and bottle of champagne. Height of luxury, staff are well trained and on hand to cater for your every need, whether that's a bit of help putting up your parasol by the pool, pouring your drinks or cooling you down with a light misting of chilled Evian as you relax in the sun! Another great advantage of this hotel is that it is in an established part of Dubai where there is no building work currently underway, much more peaceful than the other end of Jumeirah Beach (near the Hilton and others) where there are cranes and construction sites everywhere. Disadvantages........... a bit too expensive to go back every year.

Nicely written review although spacing would help in reading it, but I enjoyed it and would happily have read more . ♥ßeth.

Expense depends very much on time of year - I stayed for 7 nights in Sept 06 and paid £1150 & for ten nights in June 07 for £1049 (both times flying with Virgin. Definitely worth shopping around for a good deal - try dream ticket.
also think about the time of year, cheapest to go in June/July/August, but with temperatures of 50 degrees plus, I'm thinking that next time it may be worth going for the more expensive months where it's a bit cooler.
