Well what can i say, there is probably too much to write about JBH so i will try and keep it fairly short and sweet.
Firstly, the flight to Dubai isn't too bad, around 7 hours which isn't that bad compared to other holidays i've been on and if there is good in-flight entertainment you will be well and truly satisfied.
Next, you arrive at the wonderful airport in Dubai, and because we paid a little extra, we had a JBH employee meet and greet us at customs, he then collected our baggage and fast-tracked us through security!
We then went outside into the blisteringly warm heat to be greeted by a JBH escort car (an AUDI A8) in which they provided us with cold bottles of water and face cloths. It was celebrity style treatment!
When we arrived at the hotel after the 20-minute car journey, we went into the lobby area and were greeted by almost every employee. They were the most friendly staff I've ever encountered!
The hotel is fantastic quality and they are very friendly towards children. The rooms are also very luxurious whether you have a basic room or a suite.
The pools are fantastic with free access to the adjoined water park "wild wadi" which has superb rides for adults and children.
The leisure complex there is also very good, and has superb squash courts.
Just a stone throw away is the Burj al arab which is one of the most beautiful hotels ever built! So you can visit there also, but they are not so friendly towards children..
After a weeks stay there, we were well and truly tanned by the july sun and shocked by the price we had to pay at the end but that may have been all of the Pina Coladas we ordered from the pool bar!!
I well and truly reccomend staying there over any other hotel in dubai, and there are also many other fantastic places you can go to and visit and i especially recommend the speed boat trip out to dubai harbour and the palms which JBH offers.
