The Jurong Bird Park, as its name ostentiably suggests, is located in Jurong as well. This bird park is home to probably the most number of species of birds around the world in the region's bird parks. It also boasts the highest man-made waterfall in asia, and maybe the world. I'm not too sure about that. But anyway, for all you bird-fans out there, you can visit it and enjoy the birds. There are bird shows that are held several times daily, and with birds of prey being the most enjoyed and popular one. That's when the trainers take the birds of prey out and let them exhibit their hunting prowess to the audience. usually by throwing meat up in the air and letting them catch it. Me? Personally, I prefer owls. They look cuter and fluffier. And hence more fun to hug. It's easily accessible by train (Mass Rapid Transit) and bus. Alternatively, one can get a taxi, as it's cheap in Singapore as compared to London or ContinentalEurope. Entrance fees are about 12 Singapore dollars, I think. And it's open from 10am onwards. Maybe, probably, earlier. There are gift shops selling souvenirs and restaurants for the hungry as well.
