On Saturday night 12 females went on the rampage in Belfast. It was my friend Leonas Hen night and we had previously arranged to book into Jury's Inn. Four rooms had been booked. Which was excellent - no questions asked - many establishments are quite cagey about block bookings especially when alcohol will be involved!

We checked in around 4.30pm to give ourselves time to enhance our natural beauty! Check in was straight forward and it was obviously that the receptionist was well experienced in her job - she had the ability to do it with her eyes closed - so perhaps a bit more of the personal touch would be good!

The rooms cost £55 per room which slept 3 people and consisted of a double bed and a single. There was a television in the room, wardrobe space, telephone point, hairdryer, ensuite bathroom and also a modem point. Another plus point was the central location - within walking distance of city centre shopping, and entertainment - although the hotel arranged taxis for us.

Our room was bright and airy with loads of natural light streaming in. Although l know some of the others felt that perhaps their rooms were darker than ours. Also the rooms were extremely warm - too warm in fact to worry about blankets!!

The hotel had a bar and a restaurant, and wide and spacious lobby with loads of comfortable sofas!

We had a great time - had a few mishaps - some of the girls got stuck in the lift (although l do think they were hitting buttons they should not have - alcohol induced!), some of the girls got thier rooms mixed up - and some how ended up in a room with a naked man!! But really l dont think we can blame the hotel!

So should anyone be visiting Belfast and your looking for cheap but comfortable accomodation - look no further that Jurys Inn on Great Victoria Street. Excellent quality and value.
