- well, if you have sufficient cheek, that is. This is a restaurant that, as far as I know, is one of a kind. Essentially, it has no prices. Nope, that's none at all - not even for drinks. You simply eat your mean and pay what you think it's worth.

Advantages: Great service and food Disadvantages: How to add up your bill?
...list of what you've eaten, just without prices or obviously a total. It is then totally up to you what to pay. By this point, any half decent person will have decided that leaving a derisory amount, or just walking out, just isn't an option - everyone's been too nice and the food is too good, and you can't bear to take advantage like that. When I first went, with a party of four, we decided on £20 each plus tip, for a three course meal with wine. ... ...one of the few downsides of this place that walking out wondering if you've left enough is not necessarily the best way to end an evening. This may account for why, according to Mr Vasos, he makes 20% more here on average than he does in another restaurant he owns which he says is similar but with prices on the menus. So, a sneaky psychological con trick or the most honest of restaurants? Well it's a question that certainly makes for an interesting ...

Advantages: You are the judge of the prices. Disadvantages: Slightly out of reach
...no bills, whatsoever. You just leave on the table what you think the meal is worth, nobody chases you out the door, and you don't get served rubbish.
The food has a French twist but really does cater for most tastes, with it's good selection of seasonal seafood, at reasonable(well up to you really) prices. However, this place is slightly out of reach and is not that easy to find. This is cos of the slightly unappealing front door, but inside it ... ...ofcourse. Suitable for couples, or just friends gatherings with a private room upstairs for parties.
You really have everything here, with the food being very good indeed. However, opened for over ten years, and a family business, you expect a warm welcoming from the boss himself rather than too formal an approach. Up to you whether you'll like this or not.
Though generally this is a very good restaurant and reminding you that again, this is a ...

Advantages: Reasonable Cost, Close to Other attractions Disadvantages: Only for the football lovers
...Would you like to forget all those recent dissapointing England performances, remember the halcyon days when we could produce at least 11 men who knew what the football was for - not just a present for the oposition team. Well you can - I would recommend a visit to the Football Hall of FAme sited in the old GLC buildings justaround the corner from the London Aquarium. Here you can trace the game back to its roots, see how the rules have changed, read all about your favourite team and what they have achieved and most of all you can even see England winning the World Cup - are those were the days. Entrance is modetly priced. Allow about 1.5 - 2 hours for your visit....

Advantages: Cheap prices good range of stalls Disadvantages: None
...I love browsing through markets and this one is a particular favourite of mine. Each day you will find this wonderful market sprawled out along the entire length of London's Leather Lane, Holborn. The nearest Tube station is Chancery Lane on the Central Line, that's the red one on the underground map. I always combine my visits to theis market with a trip to the International Magic Studio which is justaround the corner.
The market has all the atmosphere of a typical bustling London Market and is like stepping back in time. Traders are all competing for your money so prices are cheap and there are numerous bargains to be had. There are quite a few clothing stalls so you can get kitted out with a new set of togs cheaply. The range of stalls and items for sale is varied, you can buy anything from electrical goods to fruit and veg...

...thinking we could have breakfast outside the hotel if they charged too much.
Arriving in Pepys street London EC3, the first thing that was noticeable was the position of the hotel. It sat quietly in a back street, justaround the corner from the tower of London.
Walk into the hotel and you are hit by the brightness and cleanliness of the hotel lobby. The whole place shines and sparkles, and with a cleaner wiping the windows and tidying up any mess left behind guest’s, that’s the way it will surely remain?
We arrived at the hotel at about 11.30am and were shocked when we were told we could book in (usual time is mid day). We had rooms next door to each other, on the first floor.
Entering the room we found it to be a little on the dark side, whether this was due to location or weather I’m not fully sure, but the room had several lights which...
