KFC, Leeds Road, Huddersfield

I write this review with a certain amount of regret:-

Normally I would be one of the first to sing the praises of KFC because passed experiences have been good ones, I`ve always enjoyed the food and often gone out of my way to obtain the normally "finger lickin good" chicken and in all fairness cant say anything bad about any KFC outlet I`ve been to apart from one in particular.

The Leeds Road branch in Huddersfield has , in my opinion, the worst "drive thru" service in the country ( we often stop at KFC when travelling so have visited many nationwide)

Upon arrival at most other branches you are met with the menu board before the speak thru ordering point at this branch it is the opposite and before you have the chance to decide what you want you are pounced on to place your order, after placing your order and driving round to the service window and waiting five minutes you are met by the most miserable looking and non customer friendly staff thinkable, no manners, no smiles, no customer service and quite a lengthy wait for your food which when opened for inspection is going cold and looks as though the "CHEF" as thrown the salad and or any garnish the length of the kitchen in the general direction of your food, whilst the sour faced assistant made invein attempts to catch it!
The cleanliness at this branch doesnt seem to meet the normal KFC standard i`ve witnessed at other branches either.

I found the above to be true, on my first visit, the second time I went when I thought to myself it must have been an OFF DAY and frankly was appalled upon my third and final visit to this branch.

As I said before it is only this particular branch I have complaint for and would normally recommend KFC`s fine tasting good value food to anybody and their grandma, cat & dog aswell!
