Advantages: Friendly, Clean, Friendly modern Aircraft Disadvantages: tight timing and connections
I recently flew KLM/UK from Leeds Bradford to Munich via Amsterdam.
On arrival at Leeds Bradford check in I was lokked after very well and given my seat selection right through to the Munich flight, the food on board was acceptable on the first leg between Leeds and Amsterdam although we were half an hour late leaving, we arrived in Amsterdam 15 mins late...I had 30 mins to find my connecting flight..panic !!!! Schipol is huge and goes on for miles I raced to get to my departure gate only to find the aircraft hadn't started to load..
When I eventually got on the Aircraft we had to wait on board for an hour in high heat whilst we waited for the catering truck to deliver our missing food....( we could have almost been in Munich by the time we got it !!) however it arrived and the flight was very late leaving we arrived late however ...
Advantages: Very good service, spacious, competitive pricing Disadvantages: None that I can immmediately think of

Okay, so? why have I called this review KLM to the rescue?!
In order to provide you with a review of KLM, I firstly need to tell you about my huge mistake in regards to my scheduled flight from Birmingham International to Amsterdam with BMI Baby a couple of Friday afternoons back.
This was truly a classic case of "Silly Scouse"?..

I’ve read a few different reviews on KLM which suggest that their level of service appears to vary quite a lot and this ties in with my own experience. I travel on business quite a lot and recently flew with KLM from Edinburgh to Detroit via Amsterdam. I then flew up to Toronto and returned from there to Edinburgh, again via Amsterdam.
On this trip, I experienced both a KLM regional airline (KLMUK), flew in both business and economy sections and also used KLM’s code share partner, Northwest Airlines, for the first time. I guess I sampled a fairly wide range of the KLM product on offer so I thought it might be worth writing an op on it.
