TRAVELLED WITH KLM FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER...FIRSTLY PRE-BOOKED TICKETS DIRECT WITH KLM TOLD ME I COULD COLLECT AT AIRPORT, NOT THERE, KLM MADE ME RE-PURCHASE MY TICKETS AT ALMOST DOUBLE THE COST.. THEN LOSS LUGGAGE AT AMSTERDAM TOLD IT BE AT ROME WHEN I ARRIVED NOT THERE.. DIDN'T ARRIVE UNTIL 3 DAYS LATER....WAY HOME DELAYED IN ROME 2 HOURS..THEN MISSED CONNECTING FLIGHT TO GLASGOW HAD TO WAIT IN LONDON FOR 5 HOURS..GOT TO GLASGOW AND GUESS WHAT ...LOST LUGGAGE AGAIN DIDN'T ARRIVE UNTIL 2 DAYS LATER... 3 MONTH LATER AFTER LAWYERS LETTERS..I RECEIVED MY REFUNDED TICKET MONEY...NO COMPENSATION... My only advice is cheap airlines are fine but make sure tickets are in your hand before departure and if connecting leave plenty of time... Good Luck

Your opinion clearly reflects a one-off experience. KLM operates over 900 flights every day and you seem to have been just on the one where everything went wrong. I have had experiences like yours with many airlines but always gave them a second chance, and most have managed to balance my first opinion with a much better experience next time.
