I have been going to Ayia Napa for the last 8 years; my first visit was as member of the UN in 1967 We would like to give away my little bit of heaven in Cyprus, Take a car to the Troodos Mountains and stay overnight in the village of Kakoperia, Try the Rialto 2* hotel a very friendly family run hotel, but make sure that you have time to explore the old part off the village and the highlight is to dine at the old mill. The Mill was renovated by its present owner he was the leading party in saving the old village from becoming a car park. The houses are picturesque but ramshackle, the name Kakopetria means ‘bad stone’, and according to the legend there used to be a stone on the hill above the village which brought good luck but one day newly married couple went to receive the blessing but the stone had changed it’s character, rolled over and crushed them. The modern village still presents a typical Cypriot village with the crowds of people at the café tables. We won't say any more I will leave it up to you to find out the rest of the hidden delights there. We are of again to Cyprus later this month (Nov) and we will be staying at the MediterraneanBeach Hotel in Limassol, this is just a little bit of luxury for our 30th wedding anniversary.

Sorry for a low rating, but there was simply not enough detail in this opinion. It sounds a nice place, but try to add some more detail on the place, where you stayed, food, weather, all the things you like about it. Chris
