Kololi Beach Club and surround

Advantages: Great place.
Disadvantages: Watch for how you part with your cash.

I have stayed at this hotel now on two occasions and would go again any time. Its a pretty basic hotel but comfortable and the staff are very friendly and take great pride in there work, especially it has to be said, the cleaning staff. Mind you, the pool cleaner does seem to take an age as well, wonder if he is on an hourly rate? Definately would advise hiring a fridge for your room from the hotel. My only bad thing to say about the hotel is the driveway. Not bad at first but it is quite a trek after a few days. Access to the beach is straight off the hotel grounds. Not so many bumsters this year.( A quick guide to them after ). I've always found the weather to be great in November/December. Hot during the day and comfortable at night. As for Kololi. The restauarants basically are selling the same deal in food or drink ...

Baja Beach Club - The Club Of Fun

Advantages: Cheesy, Fun, Nice Vibes
Disadvantages: None

I have lived in Newcastle all my life and everyone keeps saying that Newcastle is the clubbin capital of teh UK etc etc. Didnt believe htat - all teh clubs were the same. Then along comes the Baja Beach Club (pronounced Baha). At first it was an "exclusive, place to be" nightclub, now everyone goes, and its that popular you WILL have to que for anywhere upto 30 mins just to get in - but once you are in, let the fun begin! The best way to describe Baja would be "Cheesy". Its full of 80's music and you wont be surprised to hear "I Think Were Alone Now" by Tiffany, "Never Give You Up" by Rick AStley etc etc. Yeah, your chringin now, but when you are there there is nothin better. Baja is not for the uptight, stuck up clubbers, its for ppl who could not give a F*** and are simply out to enjoy themselves. The staff are friendly ...

Review of Baja - Beach Club (Newcastle)

Peppers Beach - Expensive, but you do get what you pay for.

Advantages: Very high quality, very modern, clean, beautiful hotel!
Disadvantages: Cost

television. The bedroom also had a balcony. The bathroom had a walk in shower with frosted glass wall. (whoever was in the bedroom could see the silhouette of the person in the shower, nice affect!) There was also a washer and dryer. Everything was new looking, modern and very clean! THE POOL The pool was quite cold, but was truly beautiful. It had a waterfall and lapped up to a small man made beach. The sunbeds were large and very comfortable and you could always get one as the hotel didn't seem at all full. Probably because theres so much to do around Cairns and Port Douglas that hardly anybody spent any time in the hotel itself. SURROUNDINGS There's the beach which is a very short distance away and shops are a short walk too. But for the other activitiess e.g. rainforest walks, coc farm etc, it is definately advisable to ...
