this is a nice hotel run by a german family. the rooms are a good size and the balconies absolutely massive. However it is a bit out of the way it is between the towns of elounda and agios nikolaos and a taxi is needed to reach either town. there is a shop in the hotel but none other near the hotel, so again a taxi ride would be needed to get to either town. There wasn't any evening enteertainment either.
Personally due to the location i found this a bit quiet, however it is a well maintained friendly hotel which would be perfect for older couples looking for total r and r.
the only other thing i would advise parents to consider is the road that runs along the front of the hotel, it is a nightmare to cross as you cannot see around the bend and the greek drivers are mental.
i booked this with thomas cook, and as it was a last minute deal it only cost about £1500 for 4,for a week, which is a bargain and whilst it was beautiful it is probably not ideal for teenagers or those who like to be close to nightlife.

Hi. Welcome to Ciao. I can see you are new so just some constructive advice. First, have a look at some other hotel reviews, some of those marked as Very Helpful for their overall rating. Then attempt to copy that format. You should aim to write at least 3 times what you have here, make sure you include all the information that would help someone make a decision to book this place for a holiday. Include cost info etc.
Finally make sure you check for spelling and grammar errors as some members will mark you down for these. Dont be down hearted at not getting very high marks on this review. my first reviews only got somewhat helpfuls for quite a while. But if you read other peoples reviews and make sure you read and rate other users work your ratings should go up in no time. Good luck.
