After booking a last minute holiday, we were looking for somewhere relaxing and quiet and we certainly found it.......Kalymnos After a long journey to get there, a plane to kos and then a ferry transfer over to the island, it was well worth the wait.... The island and the Greeks were marvelous, they could not do enough to ensure we felt welcome, and had a great holiday. The beaches were clean and safe, you felt you could go off for a wander without the need to carry all your belongings with you. The night life was vertually non existant, other a couple of bars and local resturants, but we had come for a relaxing holiday and that is certainly what we were getting..... I would certainly recommend this island to anyone who wants to get away for a little relaxation for a couple of weeks..... If you are not a great fan of beaches, car hire is very inexpensive and driving on the island is very easy as you can go for ages, without the fear of bumping into another car !! All in all it is a wonderfull island, and I am looking forward to going back very soon.

Could have given details about length of flight and ferry journey (is the ferry immediate or do you have to wait for tother flights to come in?) Availability of accommodation, type of accommodation, whether it was cleaned regularly etc. Whereabouts on the island you stayed and the average costs for eating out etc!
