The Cambridge serves a good variety of lagers and bitters but nothing stands out as a classic beer of this pub. The Cambridge is one of the more expensive places to drink on campus but is generally cheap for visitors to Liverpool.
In the summer the Cambridge is a very nice lace to sit out on their benches just of Abercromby Square which is a bit of a heat trap. I remember lots of enjoyable afternoons their.

Advantages: sights galore Disadvantages: can be expensive in areas
...Having met a great girl from cambridge i went down one weekend not long ago to meet her. i was surprised by the amount of cyclists that there are. i myself come from sheffield and sheffield is a hilly place, i found cambridge rather pleasant, attractive in certain areas, and there was alot to do. I myself have an intrest in architecture and the contrasts between sheffield and cambridge are so different, cambridge predicts a warmth of the past ie old buildings different era's, punts on the river, its as if the city is not part of the united kingdom, now sheffield on the other hand is a new city having caught much of the devistation of the second world war, much has gone here to regenerate the area, cambridge with its nice surroundings, friendly people and great shops is a must day out....

Everyone here is totally unhelpful (including me). If you come to Cambridge you will find loads of annoying Japanese tourists (why they come still puzzles me) who take photos of practically anything. There is absolutely no real culture and anything created is made from the soulless chain shops which have terrible servicea and are complete rip offs. Therefore I conclude by saying if you are told Cambridge is famous for its colleges you can say that that is true and that it is not famous for nothing else....
