Last year I had stayed at Kaunas hotel. I stayed at single room and the price of this room for one night was about 70 pounds. It is not o cheap hotel, so if you do not want to spend a lot of money on accomodation, choose cheaper hotel. Talking about quality of rooms, I was really happy, because room was really clean, comfortable, not old design. I just love the bathroom, becouse it is really comfortable, beautiful, there you can find the necessary products like shampoo an so on. In the room you can find tv with a lot of chanels, wardrobe with o lot of space, desk, two armchairs, mini bar... The staff is friendly. Also I would like to mention that location is just excellent if you want to explore the centre of Kaunas, because just few minutes walk there is a clubs, 10 minutes walk is old town, 15 minutes walk is big shopping centre and there is a lot of reataurants, in shopping centre is cinema. Vilnius is the capital of Lithuania. Its old town looks really amazing. It is full of various muzeums and churches. The main church is the central Vilnius cathedral in the center of city hall. Another famous museum-place is Gediminas Castle. The castel was destroyed in the past and now jus one tower left. But it symbolizes the whole castle and looks amazing.
Moving to other cities I would like to mention Kaunas and Klaipėda. Kaunas is the place where I live. People say that it is a best place for living. And it is rally peaceful, people are nice and plesant in here, here you can find a beutiful city hall with grand cathedral ( in my opinion it is more amazing than in Vilnius). Klaipėda is the biggest, the most beutiful, and the only one harbour . Personally Klaipeda‘s old town is the most wonderful comparing ...

Visiting the belarus capital city Minsk for me was an exceptional experince. Knowing little about the country and only three words of Russian, I ventured well outside my usual travelling comfort zone.
A good friend of mine departed for Minsk university in the autumn of 2006 to study Russian so I decided to visit him. He was helpful in guiding me around the city when I arrived, but his knowledge of visas, flights, buses and all the other information required in advance of my visit was priceless.
From the North of England the are several options of travel to Minsk. Direct flights can be pricey and with budget airlines flying to neighbouring Lithuania and Latvia there are choices to be made. On grounds of cost I flew from Liverpool John Lennon airport to Kaunas, then took the bus to Vilnius where I then caught a further bus to Minsk ...
