The drinks are the main selling point for Kavos. If you go to the right bars, you can get any spirit and mixer for 60p. I had about 7 or 8 every night and by the end, i did feel ... ...been drinking, it was because of the vodka they use being abit dodgy. The Vodka is really cheap and i have heard stories there about clubbers having to have their stomach pumped because of all of the bad vodka they have had. Everyone out there advised me to stick to bottles of alcohol. They are safe. By no means, the vodka will not kill you, but excessive drinking may lead to you feeling ill for a couple of days. Well how do i start? After going to Magaluf 2 years ago, i was a bit weary of going to Kavos. Dont get me wrong, i loved Magaluf. The reason i was weary is because of the price difference of both hiolidays. for the Magaluf trip, i went on a boys holiday. I paid 350.00 Pounds (the pound sign is broken on my keyboard) from a travel agents for a two week holiday in a 3 star hotel. i went to Kavos the summer gone. It cost 219.00 Pounds for a two week holiday in a 2 star hotel. I booked this holiday on teletext holidays. I booked with Olympic.
You can get a cheaper deal if you choose alocation on arrival, but i wanted to know where my hotel was as i did not want to be placed too far from the action. I strongly suggest looking at teletext holidays for your holiday and give them a call to find out the details. By using this site, you can literally save 100.00 for the same holiday. the hotel was at the end of the main strip of clubs and bars which was perfect as it took 2 minutes to walk to the main bars. im glad i wasnt situated in the centre of the strip due to the noise. I cant really remember the hotel name, but it was opposite a club 18-30 hotel that began with 'E'. (sorry if this is not helpful). If i can remember the hotel name, i will give a good description of that hotel.
the worst thing about Kavos is the mosqitoes. It is so hot there (I went in september), yet you cannot leave your windows open even for a minute as you will wake up with alot of bites. Luckily though i brought mosqitoe spray. I had to spray the whole room before i went out every night, so if you go, i would suggest taking 2 to 3 bottles of the stuff.
Kavos is extremely cheap. Food is half the price of that in England. You can buy a 3 course meal, the main being a massive serloin steak for 7.50 euros, which is about 5.00 pounds. Where in London can you get that?

I didnt feel like drinking a drop during those days. I recomend the London Bar and the Buzz bar (Ask for Emiliano and Harris - they are excellent guys).
There are so many bars, that some show the newest movies, football matches and even Eastenders everyday. If you felt like chilling out before you go and hit the bars, you can go watch a movie.
The beach is quite nice. There are plenty of bars and clubs along the beach side that open in the evening as well as places to buy a drink during the day. The sun was baking hot during September so i cant imagine what i would have been like during peak time (July). the worst thing is paying 2 Euros to use the sunloungers. there are also 'Salesmen' on the beach every minute of everyday. Some trying to sell you 'Sexy Donuts' (You will know what i mean if you have been there) as well as bootlegged Dvds and CDs.
All in all, i hope this has been useful to you. I would definately recommend this as a boys or girls or even a couples holiday. This is a place for the youngsters so enjoy it, as time flies when your having fun.
Advantages: A brilliant holiday for singles! Disadvantages: No sleep!
I went to Kavos a few years ago on a girls holiday, and I can honestly say its the best girlie holiday I've ever had (and I've been on a few!).
We chose Kavos as we all liked Greece but none of us had been to Corfu before - we'd also heard it was "pretty lively" from the travel agent. We arrived at 6am in the morning, and as the coach pulled up near our apartments, we saw people staggering back from the bars - we knew then we were in for a boozy ... ...on the beach - we literally had to walk down the stairs and we were on it. It was an ideal location, as it was quiet enough at night/morning to let us sleep off our hangovers, but only a few minutes walk to the main road where all the bars, restaurants and shops were.
The first night we were there, we went out about 9.30pm and it was quiet - we heard from some reps that nothing livened up until about 11pm, so we spent the first hour getting our ...

Advantages: Everyone is one big happy party family. Disadvantages: The smell from the rotten sewers.
I visited Kavos, Corfu on August 25th 2008, and stayed in the Ekati Apartments for one week.
Kavos is a very small village and everything is based on one road also known as "one strip". Along the strip lie tons of bars and restaurants and a selection of clubs which ALL have PR's standing outside trying to grab you in. Every bar will have different drinks offers and because of the competition you can get beverages quite cheap! Food is reasonably ... ...around. It only takes about 15 minutes to walk from end of one of the strip to the other.
The Ekati apartments are fairly reasonable, they have air-con (payable locally), a jacuzzi, a pool, and a 24 hour pool bar where food is served throughout the day. The bathroom is TINY, the floor gets soaked because of the size of the TEENY walk-in shower, and the drains STINK (as they do EVERYWHERE in Kavos) but you learn to live with it. I visited a small ...

Advantages: sunny weather , beaches , cheapish booze ,value for money ,great bars and nighclubs Disadvantages: noise now and again and watch for football time
myself and a workmate went to kavos at the end of june/start july for 2 weeks and we thought it was brilliant !!!!!!
ok the nightlife can be over the top some nights BUT what do you expect ----people are there to party !!!!!
the beach is great and the weather was tremendous --- between 35 and 45 degrees everyday --------major sun lotion time !!!!!
if you want some sleep then best bet is to pick an apartment a bit away from the centre as the noise ... ...what kind of people are there
the locals are pretty friendly and helpful as long as you don't give them any problems -----our apartment owner was a great guy called babos--- he even taught us some greek phrases to impress the ladies (not that we needed it)
if any single guys/girls were to ask me in the street tomorrow "would i go back or would i recommend someone to go there" ---my answer ????
well if your single , like drinking , partying ,can ...

Advantages: none what so ever Disadvantages: the entire holiday
This was the worst holiday i have ever been on. My parents got it as a last minute teletext holiday and we all went expecting it to be as good as zante (our last holiday destination) but when we got there we were welcomed with drunk people stagging down the street, it was like a scene from michael jacksons thriller. Aswell as these zombie like people there was also the awful stench of sewage.
We stayed at Penny studios which was ok, the shower was ... ...thing was, it was opposite to a kareoke bar which didnt close until 5am. so we had to put up with that.
Its not the ideal place for a family holiday, as its full a bars and clubs.
The worst thing was the sea, me, my dad and sister went swimming in the sea only to catch an ear infection in both ears and have to be on antibiotics for 2weeks.
Since that holiday I have experienced the whole student life of the late nights and getting drunk. but even ...

Advantages: Cheap booze, Sun, Plenty of night life Disadvantages: Bit quite in the day,
If your thinking of somewhere to go this summer and you want booze and fun then kavos is the place to go. I am going again this summer end of july and it will be my second visit and i know i am in for a great time.
There are pubs and clubs everywhere never far to walk all at good prices as well if you do go make sure you try a head fucker cocktail bet you can't drink it in one.
The best thing about kavos is the night life theres not much to do ... ...a jeep and drive around the rest of corfu this is what we will be doing. Corfu town is a great place to drive and visit with a cricket pitch in the town square so be careful where you park that hire car. You find loads of shops selling designer gear at knocked down prices.
One think to watch for is the flower sellers they sell loads of othere rubbish as well and it is not worth the money.
If you require any more information about Kavos email me ...

2wenties, as the name suggests, is a club 18-30 type travel agents aimed at providing clubbing holidays for young people. It is provided by First Choice.
In my experience we were visiting Kavos, Corfu. The flights, transfer, and hotel were all included. The hotel was a very basic studio room with bathroom that does the job! There was also a small balcony which was good to have!
2wenties had arranged everything and it all went to plan without any problems. They provide a rep during your stay (who it seemed like they were only there to arrange trips and upsell) who I assume would help if you had any difficulties.
2wenties also arrange many trips and bar crawls however we did not go on any of these. They sounded all-right but we had been told by others at the resort that they weren't anything special and they were expensive!
They do ...
Advantages: lively, cheap, good weather Disadvantages: not for oldies
After my A-Levels I took a trip with 7 girly friends to Kavos, Corfu. This is an extremely lively resort and is definetly only suitable for the young and young at heart.
Here's Kavos :- Wake up at around midday, sit around the pool sipping cocktails and flirting with members of the opposite sex, leave at around 5 when the sun goes in, get tarted up for a HUGE night out, drink lots of alcohol with mates before you go out, go into town for a boozy meal before the bars open, visit numerous cocktail bars and drink copeous amounts at very little cost, make way to club at around midnight, jump into pool fully clothed and very drunk, try and get home at around 4am. Sleep til following morning, repeat routine for fortnight.
If this sounds like fun, Kavos is the place for you. It beats Ibiza because it is so stinking cheap - you don't have to ...

Advantages: website easy to navigate. Disadvantages: none come to mind!
This year was the first time that i had ever booked a holiday with first choice. We booked a last minute deal to Kavos, in Corfu, Greece. I have to say that it was a very easy andn pleasant transaction.
The website was clearly very secure, and loaded all its pages quickly. There were no hidden charges for booking online, and the website itself was very easy to navigate.
The price was very competitive, in fact it was by far the cheapest we had found, and it automatically included transfers from the airport to the hotel, something of which i was extremely grateful, and surprised, as this is the first holiday provider i have found that includes this at no extra cost.
We recieved our email confirmation within a matter of minutes of completing our transaction. Our confirmation detailed that we would recieve our tickets 2 weeks ...
