Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich is Europe\\\'s most modern airport hotel. The luxurious ambience created by star architect Helmut Jahn provides you with all the advantages of a 5 star hotel. You\\\'ll simply love the exciting architecture, the unique ambience and the many heavenly ideas. The hangar style lobby is very large and is decorated and furnished in a very modern style. Next to the reception desk on the right hand side is a seating area with modern bright red seats. Opposite the reception area is the lobby bar also featuring bright red leather seats and very high artificial palm trees. The bar is partitioned off by glass vitrines with artificial red geraniums. You\\\'ll simply love the exciting architecture, the unique ambience, comfort, style and superb service that have attracted the hotel an international reputation.
Advantages: Lots to see and do Disadvantages: None
...journey on the train. On my last visit I purchased a four-day pass, which covered my journey to and from the airport plus unlimited use of the underground system in the city zone as well as my travel each morning to work, which is about half an hours ride out of Munich into ‘Zone 2’ of the train system. This four day pass covering Zones 1 and 2 only cost 14.80 euro (about 9.60GBP), the train staff all seemed to speak English, timetables are easy to understand and every single train was always on time. Our transport system certainly leaves a lot to be desired.
Finding a hotel to stay in Munich couldn’t be easier as there’s a great selection to choose from, many you’ll find on the internet or you could contact the tourist information in Munich who I’m sure you’ll find to be English speaking and most helpful and efficient.
Munich has a lot...

Advantages: More than Oktoberfest and Lederhosen to be found Disadvantages: Expensive, the weather - depending on the time of the year of your trip
...Most people who hear anyone saying 'I've been to Munich' associate this city, the capital of the federal state of Bavaria in Germany, with the famous 'Oktoberfest', 'Lederhosen' and 'Bier'.
But Munich is much more. And some of the attractions of this City I want to tell you about, as I lived in Munich from 1972 until 1993.
Munich has lost of scenic museums, parks and much much more.
** How to get there **
You may travel to Munich however you like most, but by ship as the river Isar is not navigable.
-by plane:
Munichairport is fast growing and it's relatively new, it was opened in 1992. So you'll find a comfortable and clean site, with all you expect at an international airport, even if it's very far outside the city of Munich. To get to the City you may use the 'S-Bahn' (City Railway), a bus service to Munich Main Station...

..., meanwhile, although meaning similarly as the Frankfurt Main airport, either, however -- (S1 and 8) after all frequents the normal regular traffic every 10 minutes. The race has the resources for normal trains blocked and so tuckelt well around the Transrapid unfortunately one 45 minutes comfortable far, before one can tackle broader aims.
The short-distance traffic in Munich however is unprecedented: Suburban trains up to surrounding recreation areas like Lake Starnberg, undergrounds to football stadia which there is not yet, and a bus and tramway even below the week which offers regular night lines. All information and prices under www.mvv-muenchen.de. Munich in short is attainable well and also within the extended municipal area rum is easily to come.

When we booked our holiday to a cabin Norway I made a fundamental error and miscalculated the time it would take to get from Oslo Gardemeon airport to the fjord area of Norway. With a distance of 293km (182 miles) I thought that we could easily cover the more
