Court - a purpose built, friendly hotel providing the perfect place to stay when in London. All the unusually large bedrooms are newly refurbished with telephone, satellite TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer and trouser press. A few minutes walk takes you to Earls Court Underground station and the short journey to Knightsbridge and Harrods and the West End Theatreland.
Advantages: Close to Tube Station/Bars/restaurants Disadvantages: Lift too small
...2 friends stayed at The Kensington Court Hotel in Feb 2006, whilst on a weekend break to London.
The hotel is in an ideal situation for travellers in the fashionable Earls Court. It is a 2 minute walk to the nearest tube station and has lots of pubs and restaurants nearby.
The hotel itself was very clean and well presented. The rooms were very spacious with everything you need eg hairdryers, kettles, towels, tv etc.The en-suite bathroom had a shower ... ...3 nights, booking through Superbreak.According to the Kensington Court Hotel website they charge £65 for a double, £72 for a single and £65 for a twin. They also have triple and quad rooms, which cost about £115-£125 per night.

However, reputedly it is not easy to qualify for membership of Best Western – prospective members must meet some very exacting standards and each hotel in UK is independently inspected on an annual basis by the AA.
Globally there are around 4,000 hotels in the group whilst there are several hundred in the UK. Some are bustling city centres hotels, others are nicely converted Elizabethan lodges and some are plush Georgian style country manor houses.
Among Best Western hotels in London are the Delmere Hotel, Hyde Park, the John Howard Hotel, Kensington, the Mornington Hotel, Lancester Gate, Raglan Hall...

Advantages: Clean, comfortable, well-located. Can be very good value for money. Disadvantages: Can be very expensive on weekdays

The ethos of Club Quarters is to provide a comfortable and competitively-priced in a club-like atmosphere. However for the average traveller in London the secret of staying at Club Quarters for a good price (whether the St. Paul's or Gracechurch versions) is normally to avoid weekdays when the price shoots up, driven by the business customers or members.
Although many tourists flock to the hotels in the West End and the Kensington to Earl's Court area, there is a lot to be said for the City as a tourist location. Many of London's oldest places of interest are located in, or near it, it is the most interesting part...

Kensington Court Hotel is situated on a quiet side street in fashionable Kensington, just 5 minutes walk from Earl\\\'s Court Exhibition Centre and tube station. Harrods is also nearby as are the British Science and Natural History museums. Within easy walking distance of the property you will also find a good range of restaurants and food outlets. The lobby is small and modern with a mirrored ceiling and light wood furnishing, there is a small seating area to one side. Rooms are medium sized and in very good condition, decoration is simple. The rooms benefit from good sized windows. The restaurant, which serves breakfast only, is in the basement.
My partner and I booked a room, with bed and breakfast as we were attending a concert at the nearby Royal Albert hall. The cost of the room was £126, which seems expensive for bed and breakfast worked out as fairly good value considering it is within... more
