Advantages: Clean, comfortable, good location for touring Kerry

...the first night at the Kenmare Bay Hotel. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the beauties of the Kerry countryside, although the day following our stay was wet and misty, which meant that anything more than 50 yards from the roadside on the Ring of Kerry was invisible! The hotel itself is on the large side with 136 rooms, but the service is still personal and friendly. The night we stayed there were a couple of coach trips booked in so ...
...locally sourced, cooked well and we can specially recommend the seafood chowder and the Kerry beef. The rooms are spacious and clean and, because they have large windows, appear bright and welcoming. Guests have a choice of smoking or non-smoking accommodation and each room has the usual tea and coffee, hairdryer, TV and “dial 9 for an outside line” telephone.
