Khan Al Khalili Bazaar, it's a famous market in Islamic Cairo very close to AlAzhar Mosque and Al Hussien Mosque, this bazaar contains traditional egyptian products like papyrus, different kind copied pharaohs status which made from Basalt, Alabaster, granite and Limestone, also you can find inside this Bazaar, many coffe shops, one of them called Naguib Mahfouz (the Egyptian novelist who gain Nobel price), there's an oriental restaurant hold the same name of (Naguib Mahfouz) also, Khan Al Khalili Bazaar is a perfect place to visit at the end of your visit to Cairo, to buy some gifts for you family or friends or to get some souvenirs from egypt with good prices, and don't take the first price you can always bargaining the prices.

Zamalek is less than 5 minutes from the downtown area, where the Egyptian museum is located, 10 minutes away from Islamic Cairo (the Azhar, KhanAl-Khalili market) and about 20 minutes from the Pyramids. The hotel can also arrange tours and cars for you.
Checking in was very easy and staff were very helpful even at 3am! They spoke fairly good English which helped. My flight out of Egypt was at 10pm but was able to leave my luaggage in the hotel after I had checked out which was very useful.

Famous in song and history books the "Old Bazaar in Cairo" is a must. A massive sprawl of winding narrow streets is full of stalls and shops, catering for the tourist and local alike. It does get busy, so I would suggest that you go early; say about nine in the morning. Whether you want to hunt down bargains and interesting gifts or just sit in a coffee bar, a steaming cup in one hand and a "shisha" pipe in the other and watch the world go by it's a great experience.
