busy shopping streets and local attractions. Across the street is the bus and train stations providing excellent transport links. Killarney Royal prides itself on meticulously high levels of personal service that is on offer to its guests as soon as they arrive. Air conditioned throughout, the property has been tastefully designed by the proprietor.
Advantages: Beautiful, unspoilt countryside. Captivating. Disadvantages: You won't want to come home!!!

Unspoilt countryside...
A pace of life to be envied!!
An overview of one of the largest towns in Southern Ireland. All information was gathered on my trip to the Emerald Isle in July 2000.
Killarney Town
Killarney is a busy market town and the oldest and most popular tourist destination. That said it is not as busy or as much of a tourist trap as you think it is going to be. With ‘Killarney National Park’ and the ‘Ring of Kerry’ a short drive away you can easily escape into the beautiful unspoilt countryside of Southern Ireland
The town itself offers an extensive range of restaurants, entertainment and traditional Irish pubs. I would highly recommend 'Wilde Oscars' a bohemian, welcoming and stylish restaurant located in the centre of the town. A meal...

Advantages: superb accomodation, beautiful place, very hospitable, ideal for young children. Disadvantages: A long drive from England
...as there were slatted stairs and a marble floor at the bottom so not suitable for our young family but with grown up kids you could easily fit 2 families in there. There was a sun room which we used as a play room for the kids,3 bedrooms downstairs with 2 bathrooms one of which included a jacuzzi. The massive kitchen was totally equipped and they also provided a cot .All sheets were provided as was electricity.
The farm is situated in a small hamlet called Glenflesk on the N22 Cork to Killarney road .There is a pub,a church and a garage so this is not the place to come on holiday if you are after lively night life. We found the pub too far to walk to with young children but after taking the kids down a track to the farm (5 minutes, accessible by buggy)every morning and then going on afternoon trips to various places around Killarney National Park...

I purchased this machine last year and we have been very happy with it. We are seriously coffee lovers and didn't mind paying a bit extra for a top quality machine, that was easy to use that would last us a long time - if these are your requirements... more
