Advantages: Good food, high quality service Disadvantages: Adare, although picturesque, is a bit 'touristy'
...Adare is a picture postcard village 6 or 7 miles South of Limerick, picturesque thatched cottages mostly now antique shops and high quality restaurant. The Dunraven Arms is right in the heart of the village. A rambling 2 storey hotel with and 'olde worlde' pub and Egon Ronay approved restaurant at its centre. Facilities are good with a superbly kitted out health centre and some high quality shops within the hotel. The hotel caters for small business conferences and events with a very reasonable day delegate rate. Advantages: Great views, lovely rooms and close to Blackpool Sands Disadvantages: Out of Dartmouth, but great for a quieter stay
...We arrived at Stoke Fleming nr dartmouth for a weekend away.
The Stoke Lodgehotel is a lovely hotel situated in a small village called Stoke Fleming which is on the way towards Blackpool sands.
The hotel is very relaxed with very pleasant rooms and a great view. There is a large chess set on the lawn, gardens to wander and also a games room downstairs, away from all the guests.
We ventured out on the saturday night for a meal at the Green Dragon pub which serves excellent crab sandwiches in the day but a beautifully coked meal in the evening. Afterwards we strolled back to Stoke Lodge where we went downstairs and played pool whilst enjoygin drinks from the bar.
Over all a very enjoyable weekend which was enhanced by the great accomodation in a lovely village....

...My wife and I have stayed at Travel Lodges about 20 times the last 10 years. We have no complaints at all.Good value for money.Clean, lovley towels, shower, bath, large settee,tv,coffee, tea, milk and the staff have always been friendly and efficient even arriving late at night, and a Gideon bible on the table. We regard the T travel Lodges as overnight stays and not as a luxury hotel with all the trimmings, and this is done,I think very well.Booking is easy by telephone or online. The nice thing about the Lodges is the good standard you receive every visit. This takes away the worry of what you might expect while are traveling.Apart from the city centre Lodges there is usualy plenty of car parking,BRILLIANT.We will be staying at Travel Lodges in the future....
