King of Queens

Advantages: Funny, good characters
Disadvantages: None

King of Queens is an American sitcom set in New York. The King in question is Doug Heffernan and the Queens they relate to is actually the suburb of New York he lives in with his wife Carrie. I think this title is a really clever play on words and sets the scene for quite a funny sitcom in my opinion. Doug and Carrie are the main couple in this sitcom and it?s really them that the whole show revolves around. They have a nice relationship but bicker like most couples and they really play on each others stereotypes to get the laughs out of the audience. For example Doug is rather fat and so they definitely play this up on the show. He is generally always eating my Carrie facilitates this by buying him or making him his favourite foods. Doug is played by the very funny Kevin James who has been in movies such as Hitch, I Now Pronounce You ...

The King Of Gaming!

Advantages: Lots Of Games And Different Prizes To Choose From, Well Laid Out Site
Disadvantages: King.com Take A Fairly Big Cut

I joined King.com about two years ago. I was previously a member of the itbox site which was similar but no where near as good and was closed down. When it closed down I had to look for a new a new site of this type and found King.com very high up in Google results by typing something like 'skill games for money'. What Is King.com? King.com is, as mentioned above, a website offering a range of skill games which can be played for money. Basically you choose from the very extensive list of games and then choose a stake and you then play that game and your score is compared to someone else's, the higher score of the two wins the cash prize. You don't have to play for money, all the games can also be played just for fun and then you will just earn jewels if you win, I will explain jewels later. As they offer true skill games, it ...

How I joined a cult

Advantages: Funny and entertaining
Disadvantages: None

It is not often you get the opportunity to join a cult that does not require you to hand over all of your money but that is what Danny Wallace is offering people and in fact all you actually have to do is agree to do a good deed for someone every Friday, once a member, Friday becomes Good Friday as it is the day that you will carry out your deed. There is no great long initiation process and no need to learn countless mantras or religious dogma, all you need to join is send Danny a passport photo of yourself, you may even include a small item like the menu for your favourite Indian restaurant like Joinne Jonesy the first one to join the cult did but this is purely optional and was in fact something unique to Jonesy. Mind you in those days you were not joining a cult rather it was a collective. For those who have never heard of Danny ...
