The Riverside Court Hotel, Sheffield

Advantages: Near City Centre, Good value for money, River view
Disadvantages: On a busy road

The Riverside Court Hotel is situated just outside Sheffield City Centre within a few minutes walk of the main markets and one of the main Shopping areas of the City. It occupies a prominent position on the corner of Nursery Street, where it meets the Wicker. Historically the Wicker is an area of the City that was once a thriving part of Sheffield with lots of Shops and Businesses. Today it is rather run down, although improvements are currently underway, and most of the businesses in this area are now take aways and other fast food outlets. The Riverside Court Hotel actually occupies quite an enviable location at the top end of the Wicker. It sits on Lady's Bridge next to the Exchange Brewery Works with views overlooking the River Don and the new Apartment Blocks on the opposite banks of this River. Lady's Bridge was built in ...

Safari Court Hotel

Advantages: Comfortable, international full service hotel
Disadvantages: Busy front desk

I have stayed at the Safari Court twice. Both times it was very busy and appears to be one of the most popular hotels in Windhoek for international travelers and businessmen. Everything was very professionally done. The rooms were well appointed with two double beds. The AC worked well. The bathrooms were fairly spacious. The reception area got very busy at times and one might have a wait to get their key. The lounge was comfortable with plenty of open seating areas for reading the local paper. The restaurant has excellent a la carte selections that were surprising for their quality. A buffet was available for breakfast and dinner with typical breakfast fare. The dinner buffet offered many selections including local game such as oryx and lots of different appetizers. My father liked the buffet best and I liked the a la carte ...

Washington Court Hotel - a great base in D.C.

Advantages: Modern, Friendly, Great Location for the Sights
Disadvantages: No free WiFi, Not much locally in the evening

The Washington Court Hotel is a premier, 268 bedroom, downtown Washington, D.C. hotel in a great central location, just three blocks from the US Capitol Building and national mall. The hotel has been recently remodeled and offers a modern and stylish base for enjoying the city This hotel caters for business travelers - I have stayed on both weekdays and the weekend and noticed the lack of visible customers on the weekend days. The Rooms ... I always book a "Deluxe Room" when staying here. In the spirit of most US hotels rooms often feature two Double beds, but I always make sure to ask for one King size bed instead - here these rooms are the same price that is a bit of a bonus. The bed is amazing! The blankets are double sheeted, there are loads of pillows and it is really comfortable. The feather mattress topper and duvet ...
