Advantages: Reasonable price, reasonable quality! Disadvantages: Not perfect, and rubber eggs!
...Last year at a time when things were particularly stressful my mum emailed me to say that a friend was getting married and that them, me and hubby, and a couple and their son (him, the groom and myself grew up together) were going to be invited - and that the wedding was going to be in Jersey as that is where the bride's family are from.
It was great to have something to look forward to and some good news, so once we had the dates we searched the Internet for places to stay. The Beachcombers was one which stuck out as it was reasonably priced. I went onto Expedia on 11th December 2007 and booked our holiday during an advert break. Our family friends booked their at the same time, but we had got the last room Expedia had. Therefore the others booked direct with the hotel. They were flying from Gatwick, and us from Manchester...

Advantages: comfortable quiet rooms,hotel situated conveniently for access to the City CBD, and 20 minutes maximum from Auckland International Airport Disadvantages: poor timing on our part, we arrived at reception early evening just after 2 parties,quite a wait as a result
...We arrived at Auckland International Airport from Fiji in late afternoon.It took a while to clear immigration and customs,and ,more prolonged, to clear the checks of the NZ Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries Quarantine service, as we had 2 wood based gift products purchased in Nadi.
Hire car,courtesy of EZY,was picked up from the airport information desk and airport car park.
The 3 star hotel was reached via an easy drive on good quality dual carriageway roads ( the South Western Motorway and Hugh Watt Drive) in 20 minutes, and through the Royal Oak district.
Greenlane is a pleasant leafy residential suburb of Auckland, adjacent to Cornwall park. There is a good bus service into central Auckland, and importantly the hotel is well placed for access to the Southern Motorway which we used to head south to Rotorua...

...I've been staying in this hotel on a regular basis for about a year now. So, I feel I do have the authority to write about the hotel.

The hotel is located in the south eastern region of Victoria, known as the Mornington Peninsula, in a town called Rye. The town is located approximately an hour and a half drive from the city of Melbourne. The hotel itself is a street away from the beach.
The name of the hotel, One Four Nelson, is really the address of the hotel at 14 Nelson Street. The hotel is made up of several buildings. The building housing the rooms and a separate building housing a bottle shop, reception and restaurant.
