Pop a Cork! - Cork International Airport Hotel

Advantages: Unique, Extremely Comfortable, Location, New build, Service
Disadvantages: Maybe a little pricey

OVERVIEW If you are considering a trip to Ireland, one of the most popular areas to visit is around Cork. Although I've been to Ireland almost annually since a child, I'd never visited Cork until this year. The area differs enormously from the West Coast, in that there are more rolling hills, arable farming and very reminiscent of Cornwall or Devon. On my travels I always like to stay in nice hotels, well at least the best that I can afford, and that usually entails trawling through the various travel booking engines to see which is offering the best deal. I tend to find that the airport hotels are usually slightly cheaper than those in the centre of town, and for me there is the added bonus that I can do a bit of plane spotting and photography as well!! When booking my recent trip I came across the Cork International Airport ...

From Scurdy to Kingsley...

Advantages: Confortable, Friendly, Nice wholesome breakfasts.
Disadvantages: Creaky floors and Stairs. Slight lack of communication.

Back in June I attended a Ciao meet in Dundee which was organised by the lovely Belinda (belfin to you all) and wanted to stay in nearby Arbroath from Friday to Sunday so I could attend Belinda's hen night celebrations. I didn't want anything too expensive but also wanted a little comfort and so thought a guesthouse would be my best bet. So scouring the internet I came up with a few possibilities and this seemed ideal for my needs. I used the www.hotelsandguesthouses.net website to search for my accommodation; this is where each guesthouse has their own advertising page and where you can contact them from. I decided upon Scurdy guesthouse. (I know this review is about Kingsley; all will be made clear as you read on) I used the contact button to enquire about availability of a room about 4 weeks prior to my visit and to get a price ...

Conditioning scalp exfoliator from Philip Kingsley

Advantages: Relives scalp irritation, stimulated hair growth and improves hair condition
Disadvantages: None I can think of

Philip Kingsley Scalp Mask - "Exfoliating mask for a refreshed scalp" My scalp feels often irritated, itchy and uncomfortable and for a long time I had no idea what to do to change that. Some time ago, I was browsing online for some haircare products and found this exfoliating scalp mask. My first thoughts were ?Exfoliator? How would I remove the microbeads from my hair afterwards??. Also, I previously used a product from this brand and was a bit disappointed. But me being me, the curiosity won and I decided to give this product a try. In the end, it cost only £3.70 for a small tube of 30ml so I wouldn?t lose much if the product didn?t work. I researched the company on their website and found out they have more than 50 years of Trichological and clinical experience and that they regard themselves a medical company much more ...
