The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70. We joined, my wife and I, on the ?Flexi? promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ?Full? 12 month tie in. Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and 2 free vouchers for friends/family. The vouchers entitle the user to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70. If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel. BEST HOTEL LEISURE CLUB IN AREA

Advantages: Brilliant unbeatable leisure club, clean and at reasonable cost
Disadvantages: Hotel food average, Chistmas parties a disappointing rip off

I have been a member of the health club for 3 years now, and my review will be primarily about this. The hotel was built just over 3 years ago and is part of the De Vere Group. The leisure club is in the basement of the hotel...I say basement , it is actually on the ground floor, but the entrance to the hotel which you have to go through is on the level above, so you have to go up steps/ramp from the very large roomy carpark and them back down again. It did originally have a cafe copra, but this was shut and replaced by a second exercise studio, the ggod news is as of august 2008 they have opened a Starbucks which members get 20% discount at.The cost of membership is obviously different dependant on peak and off peak , there is not a family discount but you can attach children to membership for £10 a month, (7.50 at the Dudley branch ...

Feel like a Partridge in a Hotel Room

Advantages: Good Leisure Facilities
Disadvantages: Microwaved or Deep Fried Food

I genuinely used to get excited about going to stay in a hotel, don't ask me why? It probably stems back to my youth when hotels meant holidays and a little adventure. Of course now I'm allegedly grown up it staying in hotels has become a little more mundane, and this is one adjective I would use to describe the Village Hotel and Leisure Club Swindon. Village Hotel & Leisure Clubs are a chain of hotels across the country owned by the De Vere group, the chain that owns the rather famous Belfry. However I feel as though the one visited in Swindon is at the other end of the market. I must apologise for being so negative so early on in this opinion, I stayed at this hotel for a period of 5 months continually, only going home at weekends, as I was working in Swindon at the time.
