My family have been visiting this fantastic restaurant regularly since the day it opened back in 1985.
Walk through the heavy wooden front doors and you'll find a very warm welcome.
Enjoy a cocktail from the elegant bar and watch your steaks being cooked at the open grill at the back of the restaurant.
The steaks here are out of this world. They range from small fillet mignons up to 32oz Porterhouse steaks which resemble a Sunday Roast! The menu also offers excellent seafood options, chicken and BBQ ribs. A kids menu is available.
Appetisers are excellent, but, as purchase of a main course includes a generous 'Family Style' salad (gorgeous Italian dressing) and garlic bread sticks (too moreish!), I recommend you resist them and save room for the delicious desserts which are on offer, that is, if you have any room left after your main course!
The restaurant also has an extensive, good quality wine list.
Although prices are expensive, including extras for side dishes (baked potatoes, vegetables etc), this restaurant has been consistently good for over 20 years and has a very loyal, local customer base. Indeed you're likely to see more than a few stetsons in evidence.
Despite the fact that it is further up the Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy (past the rodeo stadium) than most tourist restaurants the extra mileage really is worth it.
