Advantages: Comfortable, international full service hotel Disadvantages: Busy front desk
I have stayed at the Safari Court twice. Both times it was very busy and appears to be one of the most popular hotels in Windhoek for international travelers and businessmen. Everything was very professionally done. The rooms were well appointed with two double beds. The AC worked well. The bathrooms were fairly spacious. The reception area got very busy at times and one might have a wait to get their key.
The lounge was comfortable with plenty of open seating areas for reading the local paper. The restaurant has excellent a la carte selections that were surprising for their quality. A buffet was available for breakfast and dinner with typical breakfast fare. The dinner buffet offered many selections including local game such as oryx and lots of different appetizers. Advantages: nice rooms, great bar and restaurant Disadvantages: quite pricey
The white hart hotel is situated opposite Kingston bridge on the Hampton wick side of the river. The hotel opened in 2001 and is said to be 'the most attractive hotel in the Kinston area,' although it was only rated three stars by the English regional tourist board. At the front of the hotel there is a pub and restaurant, which is open daily both to guests and non-guests. These are traditional in style and offer some nice drinks and have an excellent food menu. There is a also ...
Advantages: Near City Centre, Good value for money, River view Disadvantages: On a busy road
The Riverside CourtHotel is situated just outside Sheffield City Centre within a few minutes walk of the main markets and one of the main Shopping areas of the City.
It occupies a prominent position on the corner of Nursery Street, where it meets the Wicker. Historically the Wicker is an area of the City that was once a thriving part of Sheffield with lots of Shops and Businesses. Today it is rather run down, although improvements are currently underway, and most of the businesses in this area are now take aways and other fast food outlets.
The Riverside CourtHotel actually occupies quite an enviable location at the top end of the Wicker. It sits on Lady's Bridge next to the Exchange Brewery Works with views overlooking the River Don and the new Apartment Blocks on the opposite banks of this River. Lady's Bridge was built in ...
