After the successful series of Tomb Raider games it was inevitable that a film would soon be created. With all films based on popular products such as books or video games for example everyone expects a high quality film that provides the experience of the book or video game. Unfortunately, sometimes films are rushed so that they can be released in time for Christmas or other public holidays. Tomb Raider is one such film.
I myself am a big fan of the Tomb Raider series and I was certainly looking forward to the release of the Tomb Raider film. My favourite actress was the star of the film (Angelina Jolie) but even she couldn't pull this film further up the ladder of success than the OK marker.

This is Tomb Raider nine, and it's a magnificent game. Crystal Dynamics is doing something very exciting: it's getting better with every game.
