My visit to Kos was my first ever visit to a mediterranean island. And as I found out, it was soooooo hot. Kos is a very nice island, with great beaches, and considering it's a Greek island it is very very clean. But, it is a small island and there is not much to do besides sunbathing which can get very boring. But there are numerous boat trips to neighbouring islands and to Turkey. I went on an all inclusive holiday (my 1st ever), and i really did hate it. It got so boring, and all I ever did was lay on the beach, eat, drink and walk around the place. I'd say that Kos is ideal for young families and budget holiday makers. But if you've got teenage kids and have a bit more money choose to go somewhere else.
