i had a fantastic holiday here this summer. mananged to get a cheap last minute deal from thomas cook a week before departure...2 weeks for £260!! the hotel (cleopatra classic ) was fantastic, the staff were very helpful (apart from the unfriendly maid!). the hotel was situated less than a minutes walk from the beach. the beaches themselves were gorgeous, lots of free sunbeds, warm sea, soft sand and lots of things to do. there are many watersports on offer including banana boating, and jet skis. it seemed as though there was hundreds of restaurants, we were spoilt for choice each night (tip-don't eat at the amazon restaurant, the food was awful). each dinner cost us around just 5 euros each! the nightlife was amazing, with one main street or bars, and then a number of clubs just a short walk away. status was great, playing mainstream music. you should expect to pay around 5 euros for a drink in the bars and clubs. Finally, the weather was fantastic, we didnt't see a cloud for the whole 2 weeks and the temperature was early 30s everyday.
