In June 2006 my partner and I (both 24) had a fantastic two week holiday at this hotel. LOCATION The Hotel is located on a steep hill. The beach is at the bottom of the hill, and the walk back to the hotel may prove difficult for some. Having no health problems or children, this was not a problem for us but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who has limited mobility as even if you avoid the beach some of the rooms are a steep climb from ...

It wasn't a bad hotel

Advantages: Close to airport,right on the beach
Disadvantages: not exactly 5* and the food was a big the same every night

...week in Kos at the Achilleas Beach Hotel. It was £250 per person All Inclusive. Of course my friends were all very excited about going to a 3* All Inclusive hotel. So I booked it. On the website it said that it was a group of bungalows set in idillic gardens. Sounded very nice. Upon arrival to Kos we found a taxi straight away and it took the 4 of us to our hotel. Advantages: Great location for Kos town Fabulous views and great sunsets
Disadvantages: Not very good for young families it's one of the busiest roads into Kos town

I have had the pleasure of working in Kos for four consecutive summers, the Niiredes was was of the many hotels the tour company I for used this hotel. It's a great family run Hotel and you can not fault the hospitality give by all the staff. All needs are catered for and all who stay are extremley well looked after. Varkas Appartments at Kardamena on Kos Island

Advantages: close to town, close to beach, spotlessly clean, adequate for cheap holiday
Disadvantages: no life, no air conditioning, very basic facilities, bit noisy in the early morning

Wonderful hotel, Well run, comfortable and a great atmosphere.

...stayed in Tigaki at the Fili apartments. The first thing to notice about the hotel is that its situated a little outside where all the bars, shops and restaurants are. However its only a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is situated right near the beach which provides stunning views. When we arrived we were pleased to find the hotel was very nice. The management were very helpful and the bar/restaurant was very clean and presentable which at night provided ...
...but you get what you pay for. A fridge and kettle are provided and the rooms are always kept tidy. We had a sea view which was very refreshing. All in all the room was very basic but easily provides a comfortable resting place when returning from a day out. I would advise paying the small price to have the air conditioning on, it gets very hot. The pool area was the most pleasing part.
