Elite apartment, Elite experience!

Advantages: In a quieter area, pool, bar, snacks,
Disadvantages: None!

I stayed in the elite apartments for a week in 2002. On arrival we saw a lovely pool at the front of the apartments, and a large seating area with a bar. We walked up the steps to our apartment which was on the top floor. We had the roof instead of a balcony, which was shared with the other rooms on the top floor. The other rooms had seperate balconys. Our room comprised of a kitchen, bathroom, and a large bedroom. The bathroom looked nice, was ...
...by the brother of the elite apartment owner. This means you get fantastic service there too! Opposite the elite is a supermarket, so you could buy everything you needed from there, and also some lovely independant shops close by, which sold great products and gifts. I wouldnt hesitate to go back to the elite apartments if i visited Kos again, it was a very comfortable stay, and a personalised experience, which made my week in kos the best holiday ...

Varkas Appartments at Kardamena on Kos Island

Advantages: close to town, close to beach, spotlessly clean, adequate for cheap holiday
Disadvantages: no life, no air conditioning, very basic facilities, bit noisy in the early morning

Wonderful hotel, Well run, comfortable and a great atmosphere.

Advantages: great atmosphere, good food, clean,

...stayed in Tigaki at the Fili apartments. The first thing to notice about the hotel is that its situated a little outside where all the bars, shops and restaurants are. However its only a 10-15 minute walk. The hotel is situated right near the beach which provides stunning views. When we arrived we were pleased to find the hotel was very nice. The management were very helpful and the bar/restaurant was very clean and presentable which at night provided ...
...but you get what you pay for. A fridge and kettle are provided and the rooms are always kept tidy. We had a sea view which was very refreshing. All in all the room was very basic but easily provides a comfortable resting place when returning from a day out. I would advise paying the small price to have the air conditioning on, it gets very hot. The pool area was the most pleasing part. Hotel Zeus - Perfect

Advantages: Excellent location, Very welcoming!
Disadvantages: Bathrooms a little cramped but this is common place in Greek hotels

On the website it does mention that some rooms are "semi-basement" we had one of these and it just meant that the wall of our terrace was only slightly higher than ground level. Norida Beach Hotel

Advantages: Excellent location, great facilities.
Disadvantages: Room was a little bit basic

...to put it simply The Norida Beach Hotel is a fantastic place. I went early in October. The staff, despite many reports, were friendly and very helpful. There just weren't enough of them. The hotel itself was tidy and very well equipped, with two pools, both salt water. The restaurant was its only downfall, I would have preferred more traditional food, they seemed to cook the same every day, with about 4/5 different dishes each day which weren't that ...
...there. We hired a buggy from the on site rental and explored the Island, also highly recommended, it was just nice to get away. All in all a very nice place, I would recommend it to anyone. For families the Family Village is almost on the same site so it is perfect. One of my preferences was to not have children running around. Because of the Family Village, you don't get this in The Beach Hotel ...
