    Advantages Advantages Quiet ,friendly, a good touring centre.

It's the largest Island of the group called Dodecanese (twelve islands) and lies about eleven miles west of Turkey. The capitol is Rhodes town with its magnificent harbour, ancient buildings and fortifications well worth a visit. A short bus ride from Rhodes town brings you to the village of Kremasti, a much-overlooked little fishing village with a shingle beach and plenty of atmosphere.     Advantages Advantages Plenty to do and see!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Food is Too Nice

    We took this holiday as bargain basement, No Thrills accommodation, but this is Place was Great, although the Beach is 5 mins walk, and is the closest place to Turkey on the island. we took Taxi's everywhere from here, they are cheap and reasonably fast. they drive a bit Nuttier than brit Taxi's. Rhodes Town is within walking distance, not that I would myself, but it is only 5 mins by car. If you go to Kremasti go to the Beach for a Greek Salad Its the Best One I've had. and only €3 The (Rhodes) Retsina is very nice, is very good V.F.M, and just keeps going Down. (€5 a litre) for a night out ... more
