We took this holiday as bargain basement, No Thrills accommodation, but this is Place was Great, although the Beach is 5 mins walk, and is the closest place to Turkey on the island. we took Taxi's everywhere from here, they are cheap and reasonably fast. they drive a bit Nuttier than brit Taxi's. Rhodes Town is within walking distance, not that I would myself, but it is only 5 mins by car. If you go to Kremasti go to the Beach for a Greek Salad Its the Best One I've had. and only €3 The (Rhodes) Retsina is very nice, is very good V.F.M, and just keeps going Down. (€5 a litre) for a night out at a Local Restaurant we were 3 adults and 2 kids eating a good 3 course meal and a good drink, were'nt more than €40 which is about £30 and these people love Families they really make you feel at home. The big wow for me was that I go Snorkelling and the Local Octopus Catcher allowed me to swim with him and his Harpoon. If you take your Kids be prepared, the Locals adore kids esp. Blonde Kids, the ancient ones touch the hair for good luck. The Water Park at Falaraki is Superb (€20 for us 5), It will Dare you and will Tire the Fittest. I went on everthing and its Amazing. The Only Bad thing was That our Aparthotel was at the End of the Runway, But it Took a bit of Getting Used to. But it did'nt spoil a great holiday.
The Kids Loved It aswell. I want to go Back. I think there is always a place like Rhodes in everybodies Heart. Cos it is in mine!!

It is strange how they like blonde children! Can I politely suggest you read lots to see how much information you need to write, put in headings, for accomodation, places to eat, places to visit etc. Hope this will help you get better ratings, adding some photos too is good. Good luck.Jo

The octopus must be quite large to require a harpoon to kill it!
