Diamond review   Airport In The Forest & Forest In The Airport
Review of Kuala Lumpar Airport, Malaysia (KLIA) by mohammadharrisjalil

Advantages: Modern, Clean
Disadvantages: Toilet

...airport in my home country. Kuala Lumpur International Airport is one of the international airports in Malaysia. This airport had been built on 1998 as part of the government project to host our first Commonwealth Games and also one of the mega projects for the MSC (Multimedia Super Corridor). The main objective and slogan for this airport was to bring the world to Malaysia and Malaysia to the world. As what I know, the cost to build this airport ...
...This is because, Kuala Lumpur City and all surrounding satellite cities had become more well organized especially in traffic and rail system. Since the new airport was opened to public, I had used this airport so many times especially when I was studying in MARA University in Shah Alam (Capital State of Selangor). And Shah Alam is about 20km from Kuala Lumpur. I'm using KLIA facilities every time I want to go back to my hometown located in Kuala ... Read review

Advantages: Unique views across Kuala Lumpur, cheap entrance
Disadvantages: Attraction is reliant upon the weather if you want decent views

...of these attractions was the Menara Tower. Good, but a rather annoying ticket system
Review of Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur by alimason

Advantages: nice atmosphere, amazing building
Disadvantages: very annoying first come first served ticket system

Visited the Petronas Towers this year and to be honest i was very disappointed. I arrived there at around 11am after using the very efficient but rather expensive train system which takes you from the airport (although going up the towers is free). Upon arrival i discovered that no tickets were available for today. In fact the clerk told me that tickets sell out very fast everyday, especially weekends and holidays when malaysians often visit. Therefore ...
...as early as possible (as you can't prebook tickets either). This mean that if you're just in transit like i was then you probably won't be able to make it in time as the journey from the airport takes upwards of 50 minutes and thats if you make all train connections perfectly. However within the complex there wasa very good mall, which is good if you have some time to kill. It has a very well appointed food court too, which serves excellent and cheap ... Read review

Flying Free In Kuala Lumpur
Review of Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan by daylehall

Advantages: Natural surroundings, lots of species, excellent value for money
Disadvantages: None

I visited Borneo and Kuala Lumpur last year and being a massive fan of animals, myself and my boyfriend visited all the animal related attractions. One of these was the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Where Is It? Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is situated in the Lake Gardens area of Kuala Lumpur which is close to the Orchid Gardens and the Tun Abdul Razek Memorial. The bird park is a little bit out of the main town in Kuala Lumpur as we did try to follow a map ...
...of Malaysia, Tunku Bainun. The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is the largest walk in aviary in the world. The bird park is set across 8 acres of land and is certainly very picturesque. Over 9000 species of birds currently live in the bird park and you can see them in natural surroundings as they are all free to fly where they want due to the fact that the bird park is built in the style of a massive aviary so basically the whole area of the bird park is ... Batu Caves, Malaysia
Review of Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur by melanderson80

Advantages: beautiful caves, interesting temples
Disadvantages: tourists screaming at the monkeys

...miles before you reach the Batu Caves. It is impossible to get lost if you just keep heading towards the gold statue. The limestone hills are spectacular to look at and it really is worth walking the hundreds of steps to go inside the beautifully carved caves which are said to be over 400 million years old. The caves are a popular Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga and attracts over more than 1.5 million pilgrims during the Thiapusam festival which ...
...you are not keen on eating with your hands. I would recommend the Batu Caves to those of you who are interested in seeing one of the largest Hindu shrines outside of India but not for those of you who want to spend a day with the monkeys. ... Read review
