Full review
Price of flight: between 400-600 pounds return depending on when you go. May be slightly higher during july to august.

When to go: Sometime during the 2nd part of the year. If you are in KL on the 31st of august don't miss out on the national day celebrations and the fireworks display at the city centre (held the night before the big day on the field opposite the Royal Selangor Club)

What to eat: I can't stand people who go to a another country and head straight for McDonalds. But if you are one of them, hey don't worry lots of McDs, KFCs, Starbucks outlets in KL. Only place I didn't see was Burger King...no loss there. But for the rest of you adventurous people...do try `sate'- this is meat on a stick which is grilled and is eaten with peanut sauce.
Also try chicken briyani...absolutely yummy. And do try the fruits such as rambutan and mangosteen.

Where to go clubbing: In KL city- go to The Beach Club...the Beach Club...the Beach club. Best nights to go- fridays and saturdays.

Bangsar is another place to go clubbing. The clubs and pubs here are lined along parallel roads. Is a place just bustling with their night life.

Where to stay: At a nice hotel. It costs as much as going to a B&B here. Dead cheap.

Travelling around: Its bloody hot so if you want to walk around, I salute you. For the rest of us there is the light rail transit and taxis which follow the meter- don't worry not as expensive as london cabs! If you want to take your chance with the buses that go around at breakneck speed...well it is quite cheap...about 20p if you are willing to risk your life.

Where to go:

Petronas twin towers- Dare to go to the top? Not me unfortunately.

Kl tower- there is a restaurant at the top I hear but once again I chickened out.

Sunway Pyramid and Mid Valley Megamall- for shopping. The best.

Sunway lagoon water park- about 10 pounds to get in but really great.

Petaling Street- this is where you go shopping for the really cheap stuff. but be careful not to get conned. everything that says calvin klein is not calvin klein...OK?! Do haggle!!! Its expected.

There are many more places to see but i'm kinda tired so perhaps i'll continue this at a later date. Hope i was of some help.
