I travelled to Kuredu Island Resort Maldives for two weeks at christmas with my family and i can easily say it was paradise. Travelling there took a long time on the plane but was well worth it. From the capital Male we took the sea plane for about 45 mins,, it was a amazing experiance although very noisy from the engines. When arriving drums where being played as you were welcomed, then were given cocktails (alchohol free for the kids) All through out the holiday the weather was gorgeous at about 32 degrees c. In the mornings you could peacefully take a walk around the island which would take about 30 mins depending on your speed.A highlight of a holiday here would definately be snorkeling, you enter a whole new world when you dive into the clear blue sea, colourful fishes swim about you. You can always take a boat away from kuredu and swim around sunken islands and amazing reefs. On Christmas eve, Christmas day and the new year massive buffest with buetiful table decorations are laid out. Eating something different for christmas dinner for example pasta or fish. Another meal you can have is to go out and catch your own fish and have them cooked and served on to your own plate! A t the end of the pier is a lovely tea house where they sell the most delightful teas and coffees. This was the most gorgeous holiday i have ever been on with all staff family friendly, walking around the lovely island bare footed and swimming in the clear blue sea with the colourful fish.
