I stayed at this hotel in October 2007 and had a pleasant stay. The welcome area is clean and friendly, with a small bar and a shop near the check in desk. There's also a small toddlers indoor play area in this area. This is probably the nicest part of the complex, although it is pretty small. The corridors are quite dark and dull, but the rooms are decent and have traditional decor. I remember the beds being quite comfortable, which was nice after staying in an extremely uncomfortable Holiday Inn bed the night before. The outside is decorated nicely, with plants and flowers and is kept very tidy. However, the eating area was a disappointment and was basically a cafeteria. The food was quite nice and you could keep going up for more, but there was no atmosphere and it felt like everyone had been shoved in there not because they wanted to eat there, but because they kind of had to due to the high prices of the eating places in the Disney resort. It was always extremely busy and hard to get your own table, which is nice if you want to mingle with the different guests of which there are a variety of different nationalities, but not so good if you want a family meal to yourselves. In fact, the whole hotel didn't really have any atmosphere, but this didn't matter too much because we were never really there apart from some evenings, to sleep and for breakfast. The one day that we were there during the afternoon, it felt like a ghost town because most people just use the hotel as a pit stop for Disney. The shuttle service is good and frequent, although there are always a lot of people trying to cram on, which is expected. This isn't the sort of place to go if you want to have fun at the hotel and socialize, in fact it did feel quite boring and isolating at times. But we went there for Disneyland, not for the hotel.
This is a decent, average place to stay and there's nothing horrible to say about this place, but it isn't somewhere I'd go again.
