This is another hotel from Accor, the founders of Ibis. However i am reviewing the Etap hotel situated on the outskirts of Paris, within an area known as Kremlin Bicetre. In this area, you have the choice between an Ibis hotel, a Novotel and the Etap, as well as various other smaller establishments, of which the Etap is by far the least expensive. The Etap Hotel Paris Porte D'Italie is split into two buildings; Ouest (west) and Est (east). Whereas the western hotel has 144 rooms, the eastern has 171. However both offer the same value for money. But please remember these are low budget, no frills hotels so don't expect to be living in the lap of luxury!
The French Etaps are cheaper than those in the UK and will only set you back 48 Euros (around £33) per room per night. But bear in mind there is a 3 Euro suppliment for the second ...
Advantages: Low price for area, free shuttle service, adequate rooms Disadvantages: No children's facilities or pool, inflated food and drink prices
This is an "all you need to know guide" to staying at the Kyriad Hotel near Disneyland Paris for those who are looking to stay there. There are large chunks of this review that will be irrelevant to some but invaluable to others so I apologise in advance if the length puts anyone off reading it! Sections are labelled clearly so you can skip directly to the parts that interest you personally.

As with all Disney hotels, you can expect to pay drastically varying prices to stay here. If I'd have booked my stay directly through the Disneyland brochure or website, I'd have paid double what I did through the Eurostar website!

It was my girlfriend's 21st birthday and I had a week of holiday to use up before Christmas. So, as you do, I booked a trip to Toulouse for the two of us.
The Kyriad is probably not the hotel I would have chosen if I'd had an unlimited budget and more time to reflect on the trip. A huge 2 star hotel at the wrong end of Toulouse's Boulevard de la Gare, everything about its decoration, situation and lack of facilities suggests that it's not a hotel for a romantic break, more one for the low end business traveller.
It's next to a canal, but at the exact point where the still waters are covered by a large concrete bridge. Crowds of typically French pedestrians throng past for much of the day, and unfortunately most of them seem to be typically French prostitutes. The kebab shop around the corner serves possibly the dodgiest kebab I ...
