TAN also run the TANAir bus, which is a direct route to and from the airport - very useful. Along with the trams and buses, there are also?boats! TAN runs a Navibus service on the river, from one side of the city centre up towards the train station.
The main train station is the Gare SNCF, which is within walking distance from the city centre, or it's just a quick three-station hop on the tram.
Finally - don't rely on being able to get a taxi in Nantes. There are a couple of taxi ranks, but they're often empty. And if you try and phone a cab company late at night, chances are no one will answer. This is an annoyance, because on weekdays trams only run until 12.30am, and on Saturday ...

The Kyriad is probably not the hotel I would have chosen if I'd had an unlimited budget and more time to reflect on the trip. A huge 2 star hotel at the wrong end of Toulouse's Boulevard de la Gare, everything about its decoration, situation and lack of facilities suggests that it's not a hotel for a romantic break, more one for the low end business traveller.
