There are two L'Alouettes in Liverpool. One is outside the City Centre in Lark Lane and one is in the City right outside the Marriott. Surprisingly, they are very different but I'm going to write about the one in the City Centre.
The restaurant has an open and airy feel to it, which is assisted by the large glass façade on two sides and the thoroughly modern décor (beech, glass and stainless steel abound). There is a general pleasant atmosphere about the place and the staff are helpful and polite.
The food here is particularly good and offers a good variety of dishes to temp your pallet. There is also a good wine selection and a pleasant bar area for before / after diner drinks.
