This is an "all you need to know guide" to staying at the Kyriad Hotel near DisneylandParis for those who are looking to stay there. There are large chunks of this review that will be irrelevant to some but invaluable to others so I apologise in advance if the length puts anyone off reading it! I stayed at the Disneyland Hotel Kyriad from Monday 11 February 2008 for three nights with my 2yr old son so we could visit the nearby DisneylandParis. As with all Disney hotels, you can expect to pay drastically varying prices to stay here. If I'd have booked my stay directly through the Disneyland brochure or website, I'd have paid double what I did through the Eurostar website!

Advantages: Quality Hotel Disadvantages: Not the 'Magical' experience you would get at the Disney Hotels
My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Elysees, vald'europe, Paris in Sept 2007. Due to not having any children with us during our 5 day visit to Disneyland, it was not important to us to stay in one of the Disney Themed hotels.
The Elysees is situated a 5 minute drive from the Disney park, in a nice area, mostly made up of businesses and shops. Directly opposite the hotel, is an enormous shopping centre, complete with on outside designer shopping outlet.
The hotel itself in clean and tidy, pretty modern, with a nice bar and restaurant, although not ideal for children, more of a business hotel than a holiday hotel.
Very close by is a railway station, from where you can get a train to and from Disneyland for 1 euro each way. The trains also go into the heart of Paris, if you want to see the sights.
To summarise.
Much cheaper than ...
Advantages: Fun for all ages, excellent atmospere Disadvantages: Very expensive, not alot of toilet/baby changing facilities
I have just recently came back from DisneylandParisResort. Well what can I say WOW. What a fab time was had by all the family.
This was a family trip which included a range of ages from 18 months to a grand old age 60 year old. And I am pleased to say that there was something for all the ages concerned. I would say that the 2 very young ones did come a litle restless from waiting in ques. And yes some of these ques were a fair wait. Ranging from 30mins to 70mins. But the 6yr old throughly enjoyed every minute even the new Hollywood Hotel Terror ride.
This is not a cheap holiday places I would advise if you are to go take more than enough cash, as things are very expensive. But never the less its is worth while going. The resturants in the parks themselves mainly consist of fast food which is alot more expensive than usual ...
