I have read nothing but rave reviews about Creme dela Mer, an A-list moisturiser with an A-list price tag attached. Magazines are forever gushing about this product, associating words such as 'miracle' and 'extraordinary' to it so naturally curiosity got the better of me. I had heard about crème dela mer in the press & looked at the price & thought how ridiculously overpriced. Even though I was intrigued I thought there's no way I can justify spending that much.

The packaging is definately not consistent with the price tag. Ok, the green bag and box it comes in are alright, and the actual pot is unusually heavy but the logo on the pot is so cheap looking, I told my husband it cost £4.99 from the chemist and he believed me! I should have spent £4.99 but on a pot of Nivea because Creme DeLa Mer is Nivea's more expensive snobby twin.
