Advantages: Washing machine Disadvantages: There are 2 things to do - one is to eat, the other swim!
...*** Club La Costa in Fuengirola, Spain ***
By the way - weather was fantastic and in the 30's.
We had a fantastic holiday of lazing around by the pool and took a day trip to Gibraltar.
I'm not going into the food side of things too much but for two course meal for five it was around 50 euros including a drink each. This was same in all restaurants we visited on site.

...You've come to the wrong place for a punch-by-punch analysis of Ali vs. Foreman, but La Rambla is just as, if not more, entertaining!
The central promenade of Barcelona, a mile in length, stretches from Plaça Catalunya to the port. The magnificent street is chiefly the domain of pedestrians, as the two lanes of crawling traffic and frustrated drivers amply show. A relaxed stroll down the tree-lined walkway is an essential part of any visit to the Catalan city. La Rambla's central location means that accommodation in the area is incredibly convenient but not cheap. Hotels like the "Rivoli Ramblas" on La Rambla itself are naturally costlier (and noisier!) than those hidden away...

Advantages: Great location in a safe area of Old Havana, Great food & music Disadvantages: noise from the bar and restaurant downstairs
...El Meson de la Flota: Mercaderes b/ Amargura and Teniente Rey. Old Havana, Ciudad de La Habana, situated a few steps from the Old Square.
La Meson de la Flota is found in a safe and renovated area of Old Havana. It is in fact more like a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel per se, but has the advantage of excellent food at reasonable prices (for tourist eating places - £10 for a lobster brochette, rice and salad - very filling and delicious) and live music every night with Cubano-Flamenco concerts. The drinks, especially Mojitos were great too and won't break the bank (£3-£4 each).
The rooms have very high ceilings and are clean and newly painted, although the state of the bathroom lets the place down a bit, with a bit more wear and tear than I would expect in a hotel. However there was a fridge in the room which...
