Advantages: Only place to see the Mona Lisa Disadvantages: Very busy all the time

The Louvre was still being added to by Napoleon III. The new wing 1852 – 1857, by architects Visconti and Hector Lefuel, represents the Second Empire’s verson of Neo-baroque, full of detail and laden with sculpture. Work continued until 1876.
The central courtyard of the museum, on the axis of the Champs-Élysées, is occupied by the Louvre Pyramid, built in 1989, which serves as the main entrance to the museum.

...A first time traveller to Kota Kinabalu need not be afraid of not finding good accomodation. Kota Kinabalu has a very good range of suitable hotels for both the tourist and business traveller.
The Shangri-la Tanjung Aru has long been established as a popular beach front resort hotel which is located approximately 20 minutes from the centre of the city. ...St Sorlin d'Arves
St Sorlin is part of the Les Sybelles ski circuit, situated in the Maurienne Valley. Les Sybelles offers 310 km of linked piste and St Sorlin has 120km and the highest point at 2620m. St Sorlin is by far the prettiest village with traditional buildings, ramshackle old farms and a 17th century baroque church. Very quaint, but also fairly quiet with not a lot of apres ski. Le Corbier and La Toussuire are pretty ugly resorts with high rise buildings but seem to have more...
